Cute message 2013-04-22

THIS IS FABULOUS!!!

It was written by an 8-year-old named Danny Dutton, who lives in Chula Vista , CA . He wrote it for his third grade homework assignment, to ‘explain God.‘ I wonder if any of us could have done as well?  (and he had such an assignment, in California , and someone published it, I guess miracles do happen!)
EXPLANATION OF GOD:

‘One of God’s main jobs is making people. He makes them to replace the ones that die, so there will be enough people to take care of things on earth. He doesn’t make grown-ups, just babies. I think because they are smaller and easier to make. That way he doesn’t have to take up his valuable time teaching them to talk and walk. He can just leave that to mothers and fathers.’ ‘God’s second most important job is listening to prayers An awful lot of this goes on, since some people, like preachers and things, pray at times beside bedtime. God doesn’t have time to listen to the radio or TV because of this. Because he hears everything, there must be a terrible lot of noise in his ears, unless he has thought of a way to turn it off.’ ‘God sees everything and hears everything and is everywhere which keeps Him pretty busy. So you shouldn’t go wasting his time by going over your mom and dad’s head asking for something they said you couldn’t have.’‘Atheists are people who don’t believe inGod. I don’t think there are any in Chula Vista . At least there aren’t any who come to our church.’‘Jesus is God’s Son. He used to do all the hard work, like walking on water and performing miracles and trying to teach the people who didn’t want to learn about God. They finally got tired of him preaching to them and they crucified him. But he was good and kind, like his father, and he told his father that they didn’t know what they were doing and to forgive them and God said O.K.’ And God did not let Jesus stay in the grave, but raised him from the dead‘His dad (God) appreciated everything that he had done and all his hard work on earth so he told him he didn’t have to go out on the road anymore. He could stay in heaven. So he did. And now he helps his dad out by listening to prayers and seeing things which are important for God to take care of and which ones he can take care of himself without having to bother God. Like a secretary, only more important.’‘You can pray anytime you want and they are sure to help you because they got it worked out so one of them is on duty all the time.’ ‘You should always go to church on Sunday because it makes God happy, and if there’s anybody you want to make happy, it’s God!Don’t skip church to do something you think will be more fun like going to the beach. This is wrong. And besides the sun doesn’t come out at the beach until noon anyway.’ ‘If you don’t believe in God, besides being an atheist, you will be very lonely, because your parents can’t go everywhere with you, like to camp, but God can. It is good to know He’s around you when you’re scared, in the dark or when you can’t swim and you get thrown into real deep water by big kids.’‘But…you shouldn’t just always think of what God can do for you. I figure God put me here and he can take me back anytime he pleases.And…that’s why I believe in God.’ (If you believe in God, please pass this on, and may God bless you too..) I am your Lord! Seek Me as friend and lover of your soul, but remember that I am also King of KIngs—— sovereign over all. You can make some plans as you gaze into the day that stretches out before you. But you need to hold those plans tentatively, anticipating that I may have other ideas. The most important thing to determine is what to do right  now. Instead of scanning the horizon of your life, looking for things that need to be done, concentrate on the task before you and the One who never leaves your side. Let everything else fade into the background. This will unclutter your mind, allowing Me to occupy more and more of your consciousness.  Trust Me to show you what to do when you jave finished what you are doing now. I will guide you step by step, as you bend your will to Mine. Thus you stay close to Me on the path of Peace.  Proverbs 19:21; Luke 1:79

I speak to you from the depths of your being. Hear Me saying soothing words of peace, assuring you of My love. Do not listen to voices of accusation, for they are not from Me. I speak to you in love-tones, lifting you up. My Spirit convicts cleanly, without crushing words of shame . Let the Spirit take charge of you mind, combing out tangles of deception. Be transformed by the truth that I live within you.   The light of My presence is shinning upon you, in benedictions of peace. Let My light shine on you; don’t dim it with worries or fears. Holiness is letting Me live through you. Since I dwell in you, you are fully equipped to be holy. Pause before responding to people or situations, giving My spirit space to act through you . Hasty words and actions leave no room for Me; this is atheistic living. Come to Me and rest. I am all about you, to bless and restore.Breathe Me in with each breath. The way just ahead of you is very steep. Sow down and cling tightly to My hand. I am teaching you a difficult lesson., learned only by hardship.   Lift up empty hands of faith to receive My precious presence. Light, Life, Joy, and peace flow freely though this gift.When your focus turns away from Me,you grasp for other things. You drop the glowing gift of My presence as you reach for lifeless ashes. Grace for the Moment

God always gives Grace God can do all things. Mark 10:27

Our questions betray our lack of understanding:  How can god be everywhere at one time? (Who says God is bound by a body?)  How can God hear all the prayers that come to Him?(Perhaps His ears are different form yours.)   How can God be the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit? (Could it be that heaven has a different set of physics than earth?)  If people down here won’t forgive me, how much more am I guilty before God? (Oh, just the opposite. God is always able to give grace when we humans can’t….He invented it.)

Let My love enfold you in the radiance fg My Glory. Sit still in the light of My presence, and receive My peace. These quiet moments with Me transcend time, accomplishing far more than you can imagine. Bring Me the sacrifice of your time, and watch to see how abundantly I bless you and your loved ones.  Through the intimacy of our relationship from the inside out. As you keep your focus on Me, I form you into the one I desire you to be. Your part is to yield to My creative work in you, neither resisting it nor trying nor trying to speed it up.
