Grace for the Moment
Wistful WordsI leave you peace; My peace I give you. I do not give it to you as the world does.,. So don’t let your hearts be troubled or afraid. John 14:27
If only you knew that I came to help and not to condemn. If only you knew that tomorrow will be better than today. If only you knew that I have brought : eternal life. If only you knew I want you safely home.If only  you knew. What wistful words to come from the lips of God. How kind that He would let us hear them. How crucial that we pause to hear them. If only we knew to trust. Trust that God wants what is beat.

If only we could learn to trust Him.

Jesus Calling
As this year draws to a close, receive My peace. This is still your deepest need, and I, your Prince of Peace, long to pour Myself into your neediness. My abundance and your emptiness are a  perfect  match. I designed you to have no sufficiency of your own.I created you as a jar of clay, set apart for sacred use. I want you to be  filled with My very Being, permeated through and through with peace.
Thank Me for My peaceful presence, regardless of your feelings. Whisper My name in loving tenderness. My peace, which lives continually in your spirit , will gradually work its way through your entire being.
Isaiah 9:6;2 Corinthians 4:7; John 14: 26-27

Grace for the Moment
All I have is yours, and all  you have is mine. And My glory is shown through them.  John 17:10
God is in the business of changing the world.
Let me be very clear. This is His job, not ours. Our goal is not to make our faces radiant. Not even Jesus did that. Matthew says,”Jesus appearance was changed” not “Jesus changed His appearance.” Moses didn’t even know his face was shining (Exod.34″29). Our goal is not to conjure up some fake, frozen expression. Our goal is simply to stand before God with a prepared and willing heart and then let God do His work.
And He does. He wipes away the tears. He mops away the perspiration. He softens our furrowed brows. He touches our cheeks. He changes our faces as we worship.

I am leading you along a way that is uniquely right for you.The closer you grow, the more fully you become your true self-the one I designed you to be. Because you are one of a kind, the path you are  traveling with me diverges increasingly from that of other people. However, in My mysterious wisdom and ways, I enable you to follow this solitary path while staying in close contact with others. In fact, the more completely you devote yourself to Me, the more freely you can love people.

Marvel at the beauty of a life intertwined with My presence. Rejoice as we journey together in intimate communion,. Enjoy the adventure of finding yourself through losing yourself in Me.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Ephesians 2:10; 1 John 4:7=8; John 15:4

Daily Bible Verse for 12/30/2012

James 4:4

King James Version (KJV)

Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

God Changes Families

They all continued praying together with some women, including Mary the mother of Jesus, and Jesus’ brothers. Acts 1:14

God has proven himself as a faithful father. Now it falls to us to be trusting children. Let god give you what your family doesn’t. Let him fill the  void others have left. Rely upon Him for your affirmation and encouragement. Look at Paul’s words: “you are God’s child, and God will give you the blessing He promised, because you are his child” Gal.4:7 emphasis added.

Having your family approval is desirable but not necessary for happiness and not always possible. Jesus did not let the difficult dynamic of His family overshadow His call from God. And because He didn’t. (his family) chapter has a happy ending…He gave them space, time, and grace. And because He did, they changed…. One brother became an apostle(Gal 1:19) and others became missionaries (1Cor. 9:5)

Trust Me with every fiber of your being! What I can accomplish in and through you is proportional.to how much you depend on Me.One aspect of this is the degree to which you trust Me in a  a crisis or major decision. Some people fail miserably here, while others are at their best I tough times. Another aspect is even more telling: the constancy of your trust in Me .. People who rely on Me in the midst of adversity may forget about Me when life is flowing smoothly. Difficult times can jolt you into awareness of your need for Me, whereas smooth sailing can lull you into stupor of self-sufficiency.
I care as much about your tiny trust-steps through  daily life as about your dramatic leaps of faith. You may think that no one notices, but the One who is always beside you sees everything— and rejoices. Consistently trusting in Me is vital to flourishing in My presence.
Psalm 40:4; Psalm 56:3-4; Psalm 62:8;Isaiah 26:3-4

Daily Bible Verse for 12/29/2012

Ephesians 4:2-3

King James Version (KJV)

With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

Immersed in Grace
He called you to share in His glory in Christ, a glory that will continue forever.  1Peter 5:10To believe we re totally and eternally debt free is seldom easy. Even if we’re stood before the throne and heard it from the King himself, we still doubt. As a result, many are forgiven only a little, not because the faith of the King is limited, but because the faith of the sinner is small. God is willing to forgive all. He’s willing to wipe the slate completely clean. He guides us to a pool of mercy and invites us to bathe. Some plunge in, but others just touch the suface. They leave feeling unforgiven…
Where the grace of God is missed, bitterness is born. But where the grace of God is embraced, forgiveness  flourishes…
The more we immerse ourselves in grace, the more likely we are to give grace.
